Mr. Justice Osei-Afriyie is an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Law. He studied at the University of Ghana where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy.

He also has an LL.B and LL.M respectively from the University College London and Queen Mary, University of London, both in the UK. Before joining the Faculty, Mr Osei-Afriyie was a Teaching Instructor for the University of Liverpool’s LL.M programme where he taught Legal Methodology, Foreign Investment Law and the Law of the World Trade Organization (WTO Law). Mr. Osei-Afriyie’s specialization is in Law and Development and his main areas of research interests are Legal Theory, Public Law, International Economic Law and Foreign Investment Law.

Currently, he teaches Jurisprudence and Ghana Legal System and Method at the Faculty of Law and also serves as a Coordinator of Long Essays for the undergraduate programme. In August 2015, he was appointed as the Examinations Officer of the Faculty Law. Mr. Osei-Afriyie has also worked as a research assistant, reviewer and proof-reader for a number of academic articles and publications including R.F. Oppong’s Private International Law in Commonwealth Africa (CUP, 2013); S. Offei’s Jurisprudence and Legal Philosophy (ConFRAL, 2013) and many more.
