On 7th February, 2023, president Akufo-Addo swore into office 21 new justices of the High Court, four of whom are alumni of the Faculty of Law, KNUST. The four are His Lordship Alexander Oworae, Her Ladyship Priscilla Dapaah Mireku, Her Ladyship Ellen Lordina Serwaa Mireku and Her Ladyship Adelaide Abui Keddey. They were warmly welcomed by His Lordship Justice Dr. Ernest Owusu-Dapaa, Justice of the Court of Appeal and immediate past Dean of the Faculty of Law, KNUST.

The Faculty celebrates this achievement of its alumni as it marks its 20th anniversary. From its establishment in August 2003, the faculty had trained several lawyers, many of whom have climbed the ladder to occupy  positions of great responsibility in Ghana and the world over.
