The Standard Chartered Kenneth Dadzie Memorial Trust Fund

The Standard Chartered bank on the 23rdNovember, 2015 awarded an amount of GHc 125,000 to 31 brilliant but needy students to enable them pursue their academic programmes. Madam Felicia Gbesemetse, on behalf of the Trustees of the fund said the bank has two endowment funds; the Standard Chartered Science Education Fund for students pursuing Science and the Standard Chartered Kenneth Dadzie Memorial Trust Fund for Economics and related courses. The Standard Chartered Kenneth Dadzie Memorial Trust Fund is named after Kenneth K.S. Dadzie a Ghanaian Diplomat, who served as the Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) between 1986 and 1994.

Students were drawn from five Public Universities in Ghana with seven students from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in which Oduro-Mensah Ivy and Addo Sophia Getrude where beneficiaries of the Kenneth Dadzie Memorial Trust Fund.
