In the study of human societies the department seeks to develop and refine knowledge about human society and† applying such knowledge to the pursuit of social welfare. The faculty offers training in the teaching of sociology and Social Work, Economic, Religious Studies, Geography, English, Modern Languages and History and Political Studies. The faculty undertakes various studies to help improve the lives of people, groups, and societies as part of its social responsibilities. We promote social welfare and to support the informal care provided by families, neighbours and the community in general through† the provision of a wide range of services and resources to many people.
