Mr. Stephen Ofori graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi with Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in 2009.  He proceeded to do his Professional Law Course at the Ghana School of Law, Accra where he was awarded a Qualifying Certificate in 2011 and was admitted to practice law in Ghana.

Stephen is currently a Principal Research Assistant at the Faculty of Law and is involved in the teaching of Criminal Law as well as training of law students in Law Clinic and Mooting programe. He also generally assists in research for teaching and for publications at the Faculty.

As a lawyer with Sarpong & Associates, a law firm in Kumasi, he practices in various fields of the law as a barrister, solicitor and legal consultant.

Stephen previously served as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Law from 2011 to 2012 where he assisted in the teaching of Constitutional Law and Criminal Law. He was also a Research Assistant for the Constitution Review Commission of Ghana in 2010.

His areas of academic research interest include Energy and Environmental Law with a special focus on the interface between energy sources and demand and environmental protection.
